Egyptians had this same problem, they solved it with mummies.  If we only preserved our corpses like they did, we might also save the planet.  Or at least do the same amount of good as a ‘Green Eco Plan’ would do us, plus we would have jerky. [cause as a more advanced society we would recognize the appeal of cannibalism.  Much like the Eyptians.]  I always thought this during seventh grade History class when we studied mummies, and Futurama just brought it to the mass appeal.
